Brown Meets With Bake Me Happy Owner To Discuss Restaurant Challenges, Investments

Today, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) met with Letha Pugh, owner of the Bake Me Happy gluten-free bakery and Preston’s: A Burger Joint in the Columbus area to learn more about the challenges she has faced due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Small, home-grown businesses like Letha’s are the backbone of Ohio’s economy and are anchors in so many communities,” said Brown. “We worked to help Ohio businesses survive this pandemic. Now after two long, hard years, Ohio’s economy is growing, COVID-19 cases and hospital numbers are dropping, and customers are back in local restaurants and small businesses again.”
